AA cont'd

Did I say the great lesson I need to learn is to need people? Ha ha, I went to the noon AA meeting, and the topic was ego. Yes. Well. OK. I still don't have the first step down, but I will go to some more meetings......

    So did you hear that EGO is an acronym for "Edging God Out?"

    Woohoo, the first comment on my new blog! Welcome, Sandy. Yes, now that you mention it, I think someone did mention that acronym.

    Anyway ... this is how I understand the Benedictine vow of conversatio mora ... openness to everyday conversion, lifelong growth in relationship with God. It's a hell of a ride, but it is always worth it!
